Yesterday was the launch of men's fashion week. And it starts well: my first show of the week is that of Mr. Yamamoto Yojhi!
I arrive early, for once, and I patient. The parade begin with only 20 minutes late ...
The first model set the tone for the entire collection Fall / Winter 2011 2012: cuts straight and sober, neutral colors, winter for men will be simple.
Costumes succeed, some insets to mottled gray on gray mouse, others belted. The colors always between gray, black crow and dark beige. Particularity? Most models have sneaker soles like red Louboutins. Personally, I find it daring and original. Like many (Yojhi, if you read me ...)
Men wear all kinds of hats: Borsalinos and bowler hats. My favorite outfit? A camel costume with a sweet blue, denim shirt version man + smart street.
What I like about the shows of Mr. Yamamoto is that they come out of the impositions. His models are different: There are as brown roux, typed as typed Asian European, young, older, the androgynous ... There's something for everyone! More entertaining than the shows skinny-blonde-sad ...
Good back in the parade. The successive sets, a change of music later-yes, very good music: folk and blues, just brilliant-style changes suddenly. We spend more preppy style and even Versailles: emerald green robe and red, by reason of wanton mermaids Vikings.
At the end of the parade, Mr. Yamamoto appears briefly and goes back almost immediately in the wings, as his daughter (Limi Feu). Shy?
